Xur is back in Destiny 2 and he's bringing some quite useful armour pieces this time around as well as an Exotic weapon that is probably most useful in Gambit.

You can find Xur in Watcher's Grave on Nessus this week. For those who don't know the exact location, go to the aforementioned waypoint and simply look for a floating golden barge. Go underneath it, climb the rock formation and simply jump into the cargo area of the vessel. Then proceed up the ramp to the top of the barge and you will find Xur next to the big pile of chests.

He's packing an Exotic sword this week, the Black Talon. It fires projectiles when you use heavy attack, which can be useful in PvE for decent damage or one-hit kills in PvP. In Crucible, the Heavy ammo is pretty rare so you will get two shots off at most but you can get plenty more in Gambit. This makes it one of the best weapons to wipe the enemy team or fight against invaders.

Raiden Flux is the Hunters' Exotic chest piece this week. It is made for Arcstriders as it extends the duration of the Super but also buffs its damage on kills. The latter part makes it useful in PvE for clearing large numbers of enemies but the real use is in PvP for those precious extra seconds of Arc Staff duration.

Synthoceps is the Titan Exotic of the week and it's one of the best they could hope for. The gloves increase the range of the melee lunge and damage in case the Titan is surrounded. In other words, it's useful in both PvE and PvP in order to live out one's punching wet dreams.

Promethium Spur is a great Warlock Exotic if you are looking to get into a support role. It will cause Dawnblade kills to pop Healing and Empowering Rifts on the corpses, making it highly useful in horde situations like the Menagerie. However, its usefulness in PvP is dubious since teammates don't always pick up on your rifts and don't utilise them most of the time unless you are on voice comms and can direct them.
