Xur is back in a semi-new location as you can visit him in the ruins of Calus' glorious barge and get a few Destiny 2 Exotics that are quirky enough to warrant a purchase.
Starting on January 29, 2021, you can find Xur on Watcher's Grave on Nessus. Pop up on the aforementioned waypoint and go to the crashed golden barge, which you should see immediately upon spawning. From there, look for a giant tree that will most likely have a few Guardians on since they are also buying stuff from Xur. Once you jump on the tree, it's not hard to find him but you can check the image below for further assistance.
Graviton Lance is the weapon we're getting this week and it's one that can be fun in PvE, PvP or bad in both. The reason it's good in PvE is that it can cause a chain reaction that can clear a full room of ads by killing just one of them, much like Sunshot. The bad side is that Sunshot does this job better but if you need Void kills for a bounty, you might want to consider this pulse rifle. In PvP, it can be used to annoy snipers across the map since it will have no damage dropoff on the second shot and will flinch them into oblivion. The kill potential is questionable though.
Shinobu's Vow is pretty much a PvP Exotic that adds another Skip Grenade charge and makes it track targets better. If you run into that pesky repeatable bounty that requires grenade kills, this is your best friend. Just hit an enemy with 120 RPM hand cannon and then drop this grenade on them. It should clean up most of the time.
Titans are getting a somewhat similar Exotic since Armamentarium simply adds another grenade charge. It's a straightforward bonus and doesn't have any hidden parts but it does allow you to pack two Magnetic Grenades with Void specs. With the middle tree, it can be used for additional one-shot potential in Crucible or for clearing countless enemies in PvE. Use Demolitionist weapons or Traveler's Chosen and you will be chucking enough grenades to make Shaxx envious.
Getaway Artist is a bit on the opposite side of what this week's theme seems to be. Instead of giving Warlocks more grenades, this one will convert the Arc grenade into a Soul that will act as a portable turret. This thing will allow you to two-tap Guardians with 120RPM hand cannons since it will also hit them to finish the low HP targets off.
Pair it with Attunement of the Elements (bottom Arc tree) for Arc buddies when you pop Rifts as well and you will manage to keep one along for most of the match.
