Iron Banner is getting new incentives to play in Season 14 of Destiny 2 and Bungie offered a sneak peek while letting the community speculate what they may get eventually.
Saladin will be awarding four additional weapons from May 11 onwards, when Season 14 kicks in. The info is coming straight from Bungie so there is no need to worry about the facts being flimsy or something along those lines.
Technically, only two weapons are brand new since the other two are returning weapons from Year 1, albeit with random rolls. Bungie stated their plans for the future include reintroducing more of Year 1 weapons and giving them an opportunity to be exciting, as opposed to dropping with static rolls.
They didn't mention the exact names of the two returning weapons but long-time fans quickly figured it out. The Hand Cannon is in 140 RPM archetype and is called Finite Impactor while the Sniper Rifle is named Occluded Finality, belonging in the 72 RPM group.
As for the stats of the HC, it appears the weapon is between those found on Austringer and Waking Vigil. For example, the base Stability of the weapon is higher than on Waking Vigil but lower than that found on Austringer while suffering from lower Handling, compared to the Dreaming City-themed Hand Cannon.
Given the stats from Year 1, Occluded Finality appears to be better than Bite of the Fox on all counts but it remains to be seen if Bungie will stick with these numbers or change the gun up a bit before release.
