Bungie announced they have dealt with the massive conspiracy that involved not playing one of the least desirable game modes and Trials of Osiris will proceed as planned in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 saw a massive percentage of PC players making it to the Lighthouse recently and it was quite obvious something was wrong since Trials of Osiris is not exactly easy to go through with five wins on your ticket, let alone seven in a row.
As it turns out, there was a massive conspiracy between the players where they ended up trading wins by using the random roll function built into the Steam friend list. By doing this and dodging losses, many a Guardian lay their hands on the Adept version of Igneous Hammer without having to fight the best players around, let alone the cheaters.
When Bungie picked up on the bug, they disabled Trials until further notice. Well, that further notice came along before the Friday of March 12, 2021, when the team announced they fixed the issue that remained unnamed on official channels but everyone pretty much knew what it was all about.
Overall, this means Trials will be back this evening and you will be able to go through the regular woes of having to deal with the mode. Neither TWAB nor Bungie Twitter accounts seem to mention anything about ruining the players' ability to get Trials loot by jumping off the map so there is that.
One tip we can offer for this line of work is to not jump off the map in the first round - there is the possibility of the other team having the same thing in mind and each round won awards you double the progress for the bounty. In other words, if the other team jumps first, let them do that and enjoy double progress.
