Bungie had a well-received TWAB post recently, leading the community to incorporate many of the announcements into an unofficial roadmap. Some of the highlights are changes to Exotic armour rolls from Xur and improved bounty system.

Parts of Destiny 2 community have various things that they love and hate. For example, Hunters hate Titans and vice versa while Warlocks love watching the two groups bicker. The one thing they are all unified in is hating on the bounty system that becomes repetitive and dull after a while.

Bungie are looking to address this concern in Seasons 11 and 12, the first of which was roughly one month away from the time of writing this article. The main change will be switching the focus from doing bounties over and over on different characters in order to maximise Bright Dust and XP gains to being able to get roughly the same benefits by doing them on just one character.

Another universally hated part of Destiny 2 is the Eververse. While pretty much everyone understands Bungie folks need to make money, everyone also hates being unable to gain activity-themed ornaments through gameplay. Bungie are addressing this problem in Season 11 where they stated that some ornaments for that season have been stripped from the store and put into an aspirational activity .

Ornament system will further be improved at some point during winter 2020 as players will be able to convert their armour pieces into ornaments for that maximum customisation.

Meanwhile, Xur will become even more interesting as his Exotic armour will steer away from the dreaded 48 stat rolls. It will become randomised and given the previously low sum of stats, the RNG can only improve the items.

There are many anticipated changes that span several TWABs so keeping an eye on all of them can sometimes be a chore. Thankfully, Destiny 2 community created a tool that tracks Bungie's promises and deliveries in an unofficial roadmap .
