Bungie will provide more preferences than Guardians ever had before when Destiny 2: The Witch Queen launches as it's not only Void specs that will get additional options.

Destiny 2 has many strong points but campaign content has historically not been one of them. A cool cinematic here and there was pretty much the highlight of most of these adventures but it appears Bungie is moving forward with The Witch Queen.

According to leaked information from a behind closed doors session, The Witch Queen will feature two difficulty settings for its campaign. The first, Normal, is what we had already and this difficulty will award a loot chest upon mission completion. The Legendary difficulty, however, will have two chests at the end, effectively offering twice the loot but there is currently no word on how difficult it will be.

Furthermore, when a player finishes the campaign, they will be able to select missions at will and choose their difficulty, allowing them to either farm up the tougher enemies or go through the story content at their own pace.

The leaks also suggest that major encounters during the campaign will have enemies moving against each other, with an increased number of tougher enemies so having a red bar extravaganza with the likes of the Huckleberry or Riskrunner may not be on the cards.

Additionally, the old school Destiny 2 players might get a nostalgia rush as Mars will have a location that is functionally similar to the Farm from EDZ. Here's to hoping we get to play some football again.
