FOMO, the terrible element of Destiny 2 that Bungie relied on for a long time is in the process of getting diminished and the next season of the game will keep more things than usual.
When a new season of Destiny 2 kicks in, it is usually a large portion of the previous one that just disappears. Missing out on these activities is meant to be one of the elements that drive players to purchase each season pass and play Destiny 2 but Bungie are slowly moving away from that model, for the time being.
As a result, Season 13 will keep many things that we currently have in Season 12, including:
- Story missions
- Wrathborn Hunts
- Adored quest
- Crow in Tangled Shore, only as a vendor
- Hawkmoon Exotic quest and Master activity
- Seasonal seal and Warden title
- The seal has to be earned on Bungie Rewards page by February 9, 2021
- The deadline will be adjusted for the triumph
Season 12 content that will no longer be available with Season 13 includes:
- Crow's bounties
- Messages from the Field
- Seasonal Artifact
- Season Pass
All things considered, we are getting to keep a large chunk of content, compared to previous seasons.
For those who completed the Crow's storyline and are wondering why he's still in Spider's Safehouse, it is because Bungie initially intended to keep the FOMO elements and actually remove him from the location altogether. He will now stay for the time being, in order to provide Wrathborn Hunt-related vendor screen.
