Bungie released another Beyond Light trailer during Gamescom 2020 but some of the actual gameplay footage made its way through, showing more details about new Titan and Hunter subclasses.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light will increase the powers of Stasis, a new element besides Arc, Void and Solar. Each class will get a new subclass with Titans becoming Behemoths, Hunters Revenants and Warlocks will be Shadebinders.

It is Behemoths and Revenants that were given more exposure due to released B-Roll footage . For those not familiar with the term, it's basically stuff was interwoven with or didn't make it into the trailer's final cut and some of it features what looks like raw gameplay.

The new Behemoth super is called Glacial Quake and it looks like another roaming ability. There doesn't appear to be a movement speed increase in the footage but a buff called Crystalline Plating appears when the Titan starts punching things around. Full power capabilities, however, are still not revealed.

Meanwhile, the Hunters will get Silence and Squal super when they equip the Revenant subclass. The ability seems to behave a lot like Blade Barrage with different animations and special effects.

Instead of throwing a bunch of exploding knives, the Revenant throws a hatchet that appears to freeze enemies near its impact point before they start shattering.

There has been a lot of discussion about Titans not getting animations with some sort of new weapon when using their Stasis class. Hunters get a hatchet, Warlocks get a wand and Titans get an icy fist, which is kind of derivative.

Then again, fists are the most iconic feature of the class, besides crayon consumption, so it might be for the best that Titans are not getting an identity crisis due to a power-created weapon.
