CD Projekt Red didn't really keep it a secret that Cyberpunk 2077 is a game they want fans to play and replay for a long time. The latest proof is a hint of the New Game + mechanic from a conversation between a fan and CDPR's Pawel Sasko.
Pawel Sasko is a CD Projekt Red employee who happens to be the lead quest designer for Cyberpunk 2077 and tends to give out information on the upcoming RPG.
One fan asked him via direct messaging whether players will be able to unlock all the cool abilities and maximum stats or if the game will limit them with finite skill points and other ceiling mechanics.
Sasko's reply was that CD Projekt Red's philosophy on the matter is that there should be a lot of replayability and to that end, players will not be able to have all the goodies in a single playthrough.
Technically, one could read this as an attempt to simply limit what you can unlock in each playthrough and you would have to start a new game each time you want to try out a different skill set.
On the other hand, the mention of maxing out everything on one playthrough made fans start pondering whether Sasko meant there will be New Game + (NG+).
For those unacquainted with the term, NG+ is a mechanic that allows players to start a game over after they finish the main campaign but they wouldn't start from scratch. All the gear, abilities and stats will carry over, meaning high-level abilities will be available from the get-go, much like the Mantis blades shown in the early game during the 48-minute gameplay demo.

Sasko never officially confirmed plans for NG+ but his following sentences kept hinting at the mechanic. You can check out the exchange and judge for yourself.
This wouldn't be the first time CD Projekt Red dabbled with NG+ since they introduced the mechanic to The Witcher 3 due to popular demand.
