CD Projekt Red's long-awaited title Cyberpunk 2077 has officially gone gold, which means that the game is now ready for mass printing and distribution.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now ready for mass production. The developer, CD Projekt Red have officially announced that the game has gone gold, which means it has been approved for release and its first ready-for-launch version is now wrapped up.
The long-awaited RPG from The Witcher creators is now going to get printed on discs, put up in stores and distributed to retailers. The mass production of physical copies is now expected in the upcoming days and weeks.
Of course, this does not mean that the development of the game is wrapped up. CD Projekt Red will continue to work on the game even if they now have a build ready for launch. Everything that the devs fix from now on will be available in day one patch, which usually brings a ton of bug fixes, optimisation and tweaks. However, this certainly is one huge step towards the final build.
All in all, after a long wait, it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 is finally releasing and we simply cannot wait to dive into this huge world that CDPR created with Mike Pondsmith. November couldn't come any sooner.
Cyberpunk 2077 is officially hitting the shelves on November 19, 2020, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
