CDPR failed to impress countless players and now stores seem to be realising it, which resulted in Cyberpunk 2077 becoming subject of inventory clearing.
Cyberpunk 2077 reached what is probably the lowest price since the release, at the grand total of $10 at Best Buy . Chances are that the game is the subject of stock clearing and considering it's the console version, it's not hard to guess why.
Keep in mind that the same copy of the game is playable on current-gen consoles which are more than capable of running it smoothly but due to shortages, scalpers and other facts, many gamers still have PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Either way, it's still odd to see the most hyped game of the decade at such a steep discount, barely nine months after it was released.
Digital versions didn't get such discounts yet and it remains to be seen how much CDPR will be willing to drop the price in the future, especially because they are still working on fixing the mess that was released in late 2020.
Considering that patch 1.3 doesn't look like it will win over any fans, Cyberpunk 2077's future outlook remains bleak for the time being so let's hope at least the modders can fix and reimplement everything the players were hoping for.
