Season of the Hunt's activity is interesting enough as activities go but the item needed to kick it off was a bit of a pain with the upkeep. This should change with the latest Destiny 2 hotfix.
Cryptolith Lure charging required a bit of activity grind and those farming the seasonal event had to take detours fairly often, meaning the activity had quite a bit of downtime between consecutive runs.
After the 3.0.1.2 hotfix, the lure will not require the players to derail as much. One of the fixes is that the lure can hold five charges instead of just three, so there shouldn't be as much meter overflow that goes to waste. Furthermore, once you cap the lure out, you will have a longer period of farming before you need to charge it up.
Speaking of charging the lure up, that part will take less time now as well. According to the 3.0.1.2 patch notes , Guardians will be able to charge the lure twice as fast now.
Another interesting part of the patch is the mention of a fix in the new tutorial quest. Namely, one step could prevent players from progressing the quest and Bungie simply noted it's fixed but it's unclear which step they meant.
Coincidentally, I remade my Titan on the same day and happened to get stuck because a barrier in the Tower wouldn't go down when it was supposed to. These could be two separate issues but could also be worth a mention.
That said, it seems like the bug fixing team has been hard at work since the patch notes are filled to the brim with glitch resolutions.
