Raven Software, who are reportedly the developer behind rumoured Call of Duty: Modern Warfare battle royale mode are teasing something on their official Twitter.
Ever since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released, and even before that, various leaks and rumours have been suggesting the existence of a 200-player battle royale mode. Back then, leakers claimed that Modern Warfare's battle royale would release several months after the game's launch as a standalone, free to play mode.
As we get closer to Season 02, this is becoming increasingly possible, especially after the latest data mine, which revealed the loading screen of the battle royale mode . On top of this, today, we have a cryptic tweet coming directly from Raven Software, who are allegedly the developers of the battle royale mode.
Raven Software quoted the Season 02 tease video from Call of Duty Twitter with a simple emoji with a raised eyebrow. You can check it out below.
Many Call of Duty fans immediately started sending questions whether the cryptic tweet actually means that the rumours are true and if battle royale mode is coming to Modern Warfare. Of course, Raven Software did not reply to any of these questions but fortunately, the season two is just around the corner so we won't have to wait for too long to see if the big mode is coming to the game.
Modern Warfare's Season 2 is officially launching on Tuesday, 11 February 2020 on all platforms. Judging by the latest video from Activision , the iconic Rust map is making a return along with the legendary character Ghost.
