World of Warcraft had a rough ride so far and is in desperate need of a quick refresh. Blizzard announced a date when they are going to offer a preview of (possibly) one such thing.
Blizzard is going to reveal the next World of Warcraft expansion on April 19, 2022. This is roughly one and a half months from publishing this article and the studio seems to have high hopes that players will keep enjoying Eternity's End until it comes around.
Considering the poor reception of Shadowlands, WoW is in dire need of a win and the fans are either hoping the next expansion will be it or they have given up hope after Blizzard's lengthy series of failures and are now just cynical about it.
Anyway, the hardcore fans can enter Sepulcher of the First Ones this week and duke it out with the Jailer, possibly in hopes to beat down the worst retcon to happen to the game so far.
There are a few other new pieces of content for esports fans as well as WoW Classic players during the week but it's safe to assume that the announcement of the new expansion reveal is what everyone's eyes are on right now.
This also begs the question of whether a regular reveal will be enough or if Blizzard will have to come up with something special, to reignite the fans' desire to give World of Warcraft one more chance.
