In the aftermath of the recent Insomniac leak, details about the development studio continue to surface. The X user, VISCERAL, has uncovered information suggesting that a DLC named "Beetle" is currently in the works for last year's hit from Insomniac, Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
The leaked information hints at the DLC featuring fresh missions, additional enemies, and new boss fights. Currently, it remains uncertain whether the expansion will introduce a novel area in New York or if the missions will unfold within an existing map.
Certainly, in the comic books, Spider-Man has previously encountered Beetle. However, what remains uncertain is whether Insomniac Games will choose to change their plans following these revelations and constant leaks.
In response to the recent leaks, including those concerning their upcoming game Wolverine, Insomniac has officially stated, "However, much like Logan, Insomniac remains resilient. Marvel's Wolverine will proceed as originally planned."
Regarding the DLC for Spider-Man 2, if Insomniac adheres to the approach seen in the first game (which seems likely given the similarities in Spider-Man 2), fans can anticipate a substantial DLC. Drawing parallels to Marvel's Spider-Man and its DLC "The City That Never Sleeps," which encompassed three significant expansions, it resembled a standalone game with unique stories and even introduced new areas.
