We had a bunch of Xbox-related rumours over the last couple of days including the one about a critically-acclaimed Xbox exclusive launching on a competitor's platform, which many Xbox fans did not take lightly.
The game in question is reportedly Hi-Fi Rush, which could be launching on Nintendo Switch sometime soon. There is no official announcement just yet but as always, even the faintest hint of bad news is more than enough to start a discussion on gaming forums and Reddit.
Respected Xbox community member Klobrille, who you may know for his amazing Xbox graphics, chimed into the discussion on ResetEra, sharing his thoughts on the whole situation. In his post, Klobrille also teased a big year for Xbox users, stating that he has heard about some things that should get Xbox fans excited.
"I know of some very amazing things happening to Xbox users this year, including one larger surprise," Klobrille wrote. Sadly, Klobrille did not elaborate any further so we don't really know what is he referring to. However, it's safe to assume that there are some unannounced games for 2024, as well as the leaked Xbox controller with haptics and gyroscope.
"One larger surprise" remains a mystery though. This does indeed sound like something very big that would send Xbox fans into a frenzy but let's wait for more details and official announcement before activating hype thrusters.
Officially, Xbox have several releases in 2024 including Avowed, Hellblade 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Towerborne and ArA: History Untold. Insiders suggest there are still more games that we haven't heard about like Double Fine's rumoured multiplayer title Kiln, which could be shadowdropped at the Developer Direct.
