Ransomware group Rhysida who hacked Insomniac Games' a while back have started to leak a massive amount of confidential data from Insomniac Games, Sony and other first-party studios like Guerrilla Games and Bluepoint.
The leaked documents and files are spreading all over the internet like wildfire, revealing gameplay of Insomniac's upcoming titles like Wolverine, full-game roadmaps that confirm yet unannounced titles, full plot details and actor cast, internal slides and documents and even a bootable build of one of the upcoming games.
Some files even include personal employee documents from Insomniac studio staff. This is certainly one of the biggest leaks in the history of video games, similar in scope to the GTA 6 gameplay leak from earlier this year.
Obviously, this is a devastating situation for Insomniac Games that will without a shadow of a doubt affect the development of their games and possibly result in many delays and changes of plans.
Insomniac Games are yet to comment on the whole situation but a statement will probably come sometime today. Out of respect for Insomniac Games, we won't be sharing any assets or download links for these leaks and we suggest you don't search for them either, as you risk spoiling many upcoming titles and stories that the studio are working on at the moment.
Sony and Insomniac are probably working hard behind the scenes to take down all the assets and internal documents from the internet but that's going to be one hell of a job as the leaks have spread across various Discord servers, gaming forums and social media.
