Battlefield 6 is receiveing overwhelmingly positive feedback from third party testers contrary to earlier reports which suggested the game may not be what fans of the franchise would want. Also, it's set for reveal in Spring 2021.
Earlier this week, we got a subtle hint from an industry veteran Anton Logvinov regarding Battlefield 6 . Anton tweeted that Battlefield 6 may not be what fans of the franchise expect but despite this, it still plays very well.
The reliable insider, who previously revealed Horizon Zero Dawn PC version, did not say what exactly does this mean so Battlefield fans have been left to speculate over on social media and gaming forums.
However, Tom Henderson, a well-known Call of Duty and Battlefield insider has offered his thoughts on Anton's tweet. Interestingly, it seems that Henderson isn't worried about Battlefield 6, quite the contrary, he thinks hardcore fans of the franchise will love the next game.
"As a long time fan of the Battlefield franchise, I honestly don't know why Anton said what he said about the next Battlefield title. I do believe it's what fans want," Tom tweeted.
Furthermore, he states that EA and Dice received overwhelmingly positive feedback for Battlefield 6 from third-party testers, which is certainly something that will reassure the fans.
"There's obviously going to be some concern because of BF V, but I believe everything they are doing this time around is going to be what fans want. Feedback from 3rd parties has been overwhelmingly positive compared to previous instalments," Henderson explained.
Lastly, he stated that a reveal won't be coming until Spring 2021, which is something that EA also confirmed in their financial report when they mentioned that more info will be coming in April 2021.
As always with leaks, rumours and unofficial info, take this with a grain of salt.
