Bandai Namco has today officially confirmed its Summer Showcase for July 2nd. The publisher has a lot of great stuff in store for the reveal, with a host of returning franchises, new reveals and updates on some of the year’s biggest games. After a major boom of gaming events in June, Bandai Namco is poised to continue the hype into July.

Scheduled to begin at 12PM PT on July 2nd, the publisher will be revealing a new My Hero Academia game. With the popularity of the anime and fighting games, it’s safe to say that this is an instant smash.

Fans of monster-collecting RPGs will also be treated to a closer look at Digimon Story: Time Stranger, including new gameplay. There will also be a world premiere trailer for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, Bandai Namco’s next action-adventure, which is set for release on September 19th.

In addition to those big reveals, the showcase will include more updates and trailers for a variety of other games, including The Blood of Dawnwalker, Patapon 1 + 2 Replay, Little Nightmares 3, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots, Death Note: Killer Within, Shadow Labyrinth, Tekken 8’s next DLC fighter Fahkumram, Super Robot Wars Y and Code Vein 2.

We also heard rumours that the event will have announcements for the next Tales of remaster and a potential new Ace Combat title, though that has yet to be confirmed by the publisher.

Bandai Namco has not yet detailed how long the showcase will run, but those waiting for big news will want to set their reminders. With a litany of heavy-hitting franchises being on the schedule, the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase has the potential to be one of the month’s most exciting events.
