Developer Rebel Wolves has announced Blood of Dawnwalker has passed 2 million wishlists. This major wishlist milestone arrives just shy of two months before Blood of Dawnwalker is set to release on September 3, 2026.
RPG fans have been flocking to wishlist Blood of Dawnwalker as they patiently await more news on what former CD Projekt RED developers have been cooking up behind closed doors.
Blood of Dawnwalker hasn’t quite had the cultural phenomenon audience that games like Hogwarts Legacy and Elden Ring have received this year. However, it has created a nice little niche for itself amongst RPG fans as one of the most anticipated titles releasing this year.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is the studio’s first-ever project. Rebel Wolves is comprised of former developers who have previously worked on critically acclaimed RPG titles.
Since its initial announcement, fans have been keeping a close eye on Blood of Dawnwalker for its dark fantasy elements, storytelling focused gameplay, and massive open world areas.
Game wishlists have historically been a good indicator of a game’s potential success, but there have been many cases where games have either succeeded or failed to meet sales after strong wishlist numbers.
Blood of Dawnwalker still has nearly two months to go before its release, so it’ll be interesting to see if Rebel Wolves can keep the momentum going long past its release.
