The Xbox Game Pass additions show no signs of stopping, with the service continuing to add exciting new titles on a regular basis. And, just as was the case with all those arrivals, the steady stream of new Xbox Game Pass titles also comes with a less welcome flip side, with games leaving the service just as quickly. Today’s another big day for removals, with six Xbox Game Pass titles leaving the service starting July 1.
This month has already seen 13 games leave Xbox Game Pass, while the service has seen a total of 16 new releases this June, so it’s been a net gain for Microsoft’s subscription service overall. It’s still never fun to see games disappear from the service when there are still people eager to complete their playthroughs and achievement hunts, but for those folks, today is the final day you can play through each of these titles before they go.
Microsoft rarely gives a specific removal time for Game Pass games, though past experience says most of today’s leavers will be gone by midnight. If you’re an achievement hunter, that time frame is crucial for hitting some Gamerscore, and these six games are easy to complete in a few days, with SteamWorld Dig 2 or My Friend Peppa Pig capable of being fully played through in a few hours at most.

What This Means for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers
In a nutshell, it’s business as usual for Xbox Game Pass. The service continues to add a greater number of games each month than it loses and there are still plenty of major games to look forward to in the coming weeks, including Call of Duty: WW2, which releases on the service later today.
For now, though, it’s last minute achievements, and maybe looking for deals on some of today’s leavers if you’re interested in picking them up at a discount. Xbox Game Pass has always cycled games in and out of the service, and June 2024 is proof the process continues to roll on.
