Ubisoft have officially revealed Assassin's Creed: Valhalla in-engine gameplay trailer at today's Inside Xbox event. The trailer showcased new characters, gorgeous locations, combat and more.

After a small teaser trailer last week, Ubisoft have revealed the gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, their next major title in the popular action-adventure franchise. As expected, it is a short trailer and not a full gameplay demo. However, the footage has been capture in-engine, meaning you are looking at the game's real visuals and animations.

The trailer reveals several new characters, gorgeous locations and combat. However, it did not offer what most of the players were probably expecting and that's raw gameplay footage. For an in-depth look at the game, we will have to wait a little bit longer, probably until Inside Xbox event in June 2020. You can watch the trailer below.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla Creative Director Ashraf Ismail briefly talked about the game shortly after the trailer. He once again confirmed that the game is part of Xbox's Smart Delivery program, which means you can buy the game on current-gen and get the next-gen version for free.
