Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to receive two title updates as well as a new game mode by the end of Spring. Additionally, Wrath of the Druids expansion is also coming next month.
As we get closer to the release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla's first major story expansion named Wrath of the Druids, Ubisoft have decided to be more transparent about the development process of the game's upcoming title updates.
"We have made several changes to production pipelines and tools so that we can deliver more robust updates. We are also shifting from a 4-week to a 5-week Title Update release cycle to allow for more thorough testing and refinement," they write in the blog post.
Ubisoft confirm that Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to receive Title Update 1.2.1 on April 27, 2021, while the Wrath of the Druids is set to launch on May 13, 2021.
As for other content updates that are further down the pipeline, Ubisoft plan Title Update 1.2.2 for late Spring while a free game mode named Mastery Challenge is also coming during the same timeframe. You can check out the full roadmap in the image above.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is also set to receive another major story expansion later this year. Siege of Paris, just like the name, suggests will take players to Paris and introduce new areas, weapons and characters.
Ubisoft should reveal more details about this expansion and other 2H 2021 content updates later this year.
