Ubisoft have announced that Assassin's Creed Valhalla's first story DLC Wrath of the Druids has been delayed to May 13, 2021. The devs say they need more time to deliver a "more refined experience".

Ubisoft's Viking-themed action-adventure Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to receive two major story DLCs this year. The first one in the line is a visit to Ireland where players have to unravel the mysteries of an ancient druidic cult. This DLC was supposed to release later this month, but today, Ubisoft announced that they will need a bit more time to optimise the game.

Wrath of the Druids release date has been pushed back for two weeks and will now launch on Tuesday, May 13, 2021.

"To deliver a more refined experience, we're sharing that: Wrath of the Druids will now release on May 13. We’re working on an article to provide transparency and share insights on our dev process Thanks for your patience," the publisher tweeted.

At the moment, we do not know if this delay will affect the second DLC - Siege of Paris - which is set to launch sometime later this year. We honestly doubt it, since the second story expansion is still far away and the Wrath of the Druids delay is not that significant at all.
