From Software have shared a couple of new details about their upcoming mecha action RPG Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon
From Software's next big game Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon will have plenty of single-player content but at the same time it won't leave fans of multiplayer aside.
In the latest interview with IGN Japan, From Software revealed new details about both single-player and multiplayer aspects of the game.
Players who go in for the story will be happy to hear that the team put "the emphasis on rich single player". The game's story won't be a continuation of Armored Core 5 though, which is good news for the newcomers to the franchise.
As for the multiplayer, From Software confirmed a PVP battle arena, where players will get to test their mechs against other players' machines. Duels are also confirmed as well as mech tuning before matches.
You'll get to tune fuel load and boosters and swap weapons to those that are suited better against the opponent you're fighting against.
Previously, From Software confirmed that Armored Core 6 will not be a souls-like title by design but we remember that the team said the same about Sekiro, which indeed end up being a a souls-like.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is expected to launch in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 , Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
