Squanch Games' shooter High on Life which launched earlier this month on Xbox and PC has become the No.1 most popular game on Xbox Game Pass.
High on Life is going places. As reported by industry analyst BenjiSales on Twitter, Squanch Games' hilarious shooter has skyrocketed to the No.1 spot on Xbox Game Pass following its day-one launch on Xbox's subscription service last week.
This very unique title has been on the rise each day, leaving behind games like Sea of Thieves , Grounded, Halo Infinite and now the two other most popular Xbox Game Pass games - Forza Horizon 5 and Minecraft.
On PC, High on Life is the third most popular title, behind Forza Horizon 4 and Microsoft Solitaire so yeah, it's pretty much a massive success on both platforms.
High on Life did not receive the best reviews on launch, with some critics giving the game very low scores, which resulted in only 61 out of 100 Metacritic score.
As someone who got to play and review the game, I'll tell you straight away that High on Life doesn't deserve such low scores. It may not be the game of the year but a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 is certainly a more suitable score.
I guess it's one of those games that you either absolutely love or just hate due to its unique humour. But, why bother playing the game if you don't like Rick and Morty-style jokes in the first place?
