Focus Entertainment is a French video game publisher based in Paris, founded in 1996 by Cédric Lagarrigue under the name Focus Home Interactive, initially operating as a software distributor before transitioning into publishing around 2000. Now a subsidiary of PulluP Entertainment Group, a holding company formed in April 2024, Focus Entertainment Publishing operates as the group's dedicated publishing arm with around 300 employees and a catalogue exceeding 100 titles.
The company spent the 2020s aggressively expanding through studio acquisitions, including Deck13 Interactive, Dotemu, Streum On Studio, Leikir Studio, BlackMill Games, and Dovetail Games, building significant internal development capability alongside its publishing operations. Full-year revenue reached a record €390 million in FY 2024/25, up 108% year-on-year, driven by the commercial breakout of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
The publisher is known for backing ambitious mid-tier and AA titles from European and international studios across action, simulation, horror, and adventure genres. Landmark releases include the A Plague Tale series from Asobo Studio, Atomic Heart from Mundfish, Vampyr from Dontnod Entertainment, Evil West from Flying Wild Hog, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 from Saber Interactive, the latter becoming one of the fastest-selling Warhammer games in history with over five million copies sold in its first three days. Upcoming titles include Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, launching 27 August 2026, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, in development at Saber Interactive.
