Saber Interactive and Focus Home have officially confirmed the release date for their off-road driving sim SnowRunner. The game is set to launch on 28 April 2020.
Back in August 2019, the developer Saber Interactive and the publisher Focus Home Interactive officially announced SnowRunner, a brand new instalment in their off-road driving simulation series. As you may know, the game was originally named Spintires: Mudrunner 2 but the publisher decided to rebrand the game to SnowRunner.
Today, we have a brand new trailer that reveals the release date for the game. SnowRunner is officially hitting the shelves on 28 April 2020. Those who decide to trust the developers before the reviews arrive and pre-order the game will get Navistar 5000-MV tractor as a pre-order bonus.
As for the new trailer, which you can watch above, well, it features a ton of snowy, muddy and rocky locations as well as several vehicles that players will get to try out once the game is out.
Saber Interactive earlier promised a giant snow map, which will be four times bigger than the map in Mudrunner. On top of this, players can expect a lot of new content and missions to keep "the game fresh and exciting forever".
If you are unfamiliar with the game, your job is basically to haul various sorts of cargo across some of the most demanding terrains in the world. You will have to navigate your way through deep snow, mud, rivers and other extreme open environments to complete the mission. It is a fun game but can also be frustrating if you don't really know what you are doing. Spamming gas pedal will not take you far in Mudrunner series.
SnowRunner if coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
