SCUM gets Early Access teaser trailer

Developers of SCUM, the survival game that has you maintaining healthy eating habits, have finally revealed when can the masses have a proper go at SCUM. As the teaser trailer says, SCUM will hit Steam's Early Access come August 2018.

As promised, Gamepires' latest update to survival shooter SCUM brings gifts for the community, in celebration of surpassing 1 million copies sold. Everyone gets the golden Desert Eagle, while the Nice Watch is for Supporter Pack owners.

SCUM patched as it approaches 1m sales

Gamepires' popular survival shooter SCUM has just received a new patch with a bunch of fixes and the dev also announced that as the game approaches 1 million sold copies, they'll have a "luxurious gift for the community" next week.

Gamepires have rolled out the latest patch to their prisoner survival unload-fest that is SCUM and among the first things on the menu are ultra wide displays and random spawning, as well as news on netcode fixes that the dev is working on.

Gamepires are continuing with their super-human efforts on polishing SCUM with the latest patch that implements Easy Anti Cheat among other things. The dev also pulled some tattoos that were deemed to be Nazi, on a weekend no less.

SCUM's rapid rise to prominence can now be confirmed with numbers, as Gamepires' game has managed to sell 250 thousand copies in less than 24 hours on the market. The dev tweeted they're thankful and that there are many updates to come.

SCUM is Devolver's biggest launch ever

Gamepires' survival and battle royale hybrid SCUM is closing in on 50K concurrent players on Steam and Devolver Digital announced that the game is actually their biggest launch ever, which is a pretty big deal for all three involved.

Gamepires' survival game SCUM has already been dubbed the DayZ killer but the game's surge in popularity seems to have come at the expense of server performance, which has been questionable to say the least. Hopefully, the patch fixes it.
