Onebitbeyond are the developers behind what is probably the cutest RPG release this year. Devolver Digital will be publishing The Swords of Ditto that will be released on 24 April 2018 for both PC and PlayStation 4.

Sorry Xbox One fans, this one will pass you up. The Swords of Ditto is a ''compact action RPG'' that will focus on branching each new adventure out. Your choices will have long lasting implications and it will affect the adventures that are yet to come.

Multiplayer has been confirmed for a while now, as you will be able to take on the enemies together with friends. This will also allow players to revive one another. While not confirmed, it is implied the game will scale in difficulty accordingly.

Players will be able to equip a variety of ''standard'' weapons such as swords and bows but also some that are a little bit more freaky. There are magical golf clubs, vinyl record frisbees and uh... ''colossal foot from the heavens'' as Devolver Digital put it. It looks more like King Kong is stomping your enemies. It can be seen in the trailer video above, about 11 seconds in.

The game will be anything but linear. You will be able to crawl the dungeons in any order you see fit, regardless of whether you completed side missions or not. Apparently you will be able to challenge the final boss whenever you like, even at the start of the game. This will make for some fun speed running material.

In case you want to play the game on PC, you will be able to purchase it on either Steam or GOG. That being said, Devolver Digital haven't put a price tag on it yet.
