Endnight Games' latest title Sons of The Forest is finally out on Steam via Early Access and just like it's predecessor it features a large remote island for players to explore and build on. Since exploration will take you on various adventures, it's of upmost significance to gear up with the proper equipment to make those adventures much easier.
At a certain point, you will probably want to explore underwater but without diving equipment that will be an impossible task. Luckily, Sons of The Forest will give you a Rebreather device very early in the game if you know where to look for it.

Sons of the Forest Rebreather location
The Rebreather can be found in a cave on the coast where you start the game. It's left of the starting location, hidden well between the rocks.
You'll need your axe to break some boards at the entrance. Keep in mind that the cave is very dark so you'll need your lighter or even better - a flashlight.
The Rebreather can be found at the very end of the cave. You'll have to fight against several mutants on your way there so prepare a spear or a different weapon before going in.
