Pragmata: How to find the REM in Eco Modelling Lab

Eco Modelling Lab is an area in Pragmata's lunar facility where the sterile corridors give way to overgrown, plant-filled spaces. The REM here is visible early through a glass partition, but the path to it requires working through the area properly before doubling back. If you're visiting for the first time, you'll need to deal with a new enemy type along the way. If you're revisiting, you can skip straight to the jump.

Step 1: Spot the REM and continue up the stairs

Once you catch sight of the REM through the glass below, don't stop looking for a way down just yet. Keep going up the stairs. Shortly after, you'll find a new weapon: Sticky Bombs. Pick them up and carry on.

You'll spot the REM from up here early in the area. You can't drop straight down to it from this point, so keep moving up the stairs and work through the area first.

Step 2: Defeat the bot guarding the tree and take the chip

A new type of bot is waiting ahead, guarding a tree containing a chip. This is your first encounter with this enemy, so take your time learning its patterns. Once it's down, take the chip from the tree. If you're revisiting the area and have already done this, simply get past the tree and drop down to the left.

Step 3: Jump and glide to the crevice

After dropping down to the left, you'll land near a walker bot and a couple of containers. Deal with the walker bot first. Then jump onto the container in the middle of the room and use your jump and glide to reach the small crevice in the wall ahead. The opening is tight, so aim carefully.

Step 4: Erase the Lim crystals and move through the tunnel

Inside the crevice, you'll find a Lim crystal deposit blocking the way. Use the Lim Eraser to clear it, then continue down the tunnel beyond.

These laser traps are the last obstacle before the REM room. Take them slowly and move between the beams rather than trying to rush through.

Step 5: Pass the laser traps and collect the REM

The tunnel leads to a corridor fitted with laser traps. Move through them carefully, timing your movement between the beams. On the other side, you'll step into the room where the REM is sitting, ready to collect.

Quick tip: Clear the walker bot before attempting the jump to the crevice. The jump requires precision, and taking damage mid-glide from a bot you forgot about is an easy way to fall short and have to start the approach again.
