Pragmata: How to Collect the Strong Box Near the Beacon in the Shopping District

The Shopping District in Mass Production Array in Pragmata, the latest action-adventure from Capcom, contains five strong boxes in total, and the one near the beacon is the awkward one. It's visible from a good chunk of the area, which makes it all the more irritating when every obvious approach turns out to be a dead end. Getting to it requires a specific glide and dash manoeuvre across a gap, and the timing needs to be right or you'll fall short. Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Start from the mannequin shop window and take the hand lift

Use the mannequin shop window as your reference point. From there, take the hand lift up to the higher ground above the shopping area. Continue forward from where you land until you reach a scaffolding that looks out over the shopping area below. This gives you a clear view of the gap you need to cross and the Lim crystals on the other side.

This is the upper level you reach after taking the hand lift. Continue forward from here to find the scaffolding and the gap you need to cross.

Step 2: Drop down to the Multiple Hack node

From the scaffolding, drop down to the Multiple Hack hacking node. Look slightly to the left from here and you'll see the cluster of Lim crystals blocking the strong box on the other side of the gap.

Step 3: Glide and dash across the gap

This is the part that requires some precision. Sprint towards the edge, jump, and hold X to begin gliding. When you're roughly halfway across the gap, press R1 to dash forward while still holding X. The dash gives you the extra distance needed to clear the gap and land on the other side. Without the mid-air dash, you won't make it.

The Lim crystals are blocking the strong box behind them. Use L1 to melt them once you've made the jump. The LB prompt visible here is the Xbox equivalent of the same action.

Step 4: Melt the Lim crystals and open the box

Once you land, use L1 to melt the Lim crystals blocking the way. With those cleared, the strong box is right there to open.

Quick tip: The jump needs to be a full sprint before you leave the edge. A standing jump won't give you enough momentum to make the glide and dash combination work, even with the R1 boost. Get a full run-up before you go.
