Poppy Playtime is the game designed in a way to throw puzzle after puzzle at you, and the only time this horror from Mob Entertainment lets you breathe a bit is when the game decides to send one of its formidable enemies to chase you around (it's hardly called breathing, but it is at least a change of pace).
After finishing the puzzle where you're prompted to gather three toy friends for Lily's tea party, she will give you yet another task, and it is to take her recipe book upstairs, again, without a single hint as to where the recipe book is and where you should take it.
Luckily, we already figured out what to do during this objective, so if you're stuck here by any chance, here is what to do to finish this mission.
Where Is the Recipe Book?
This part of the mission can be quite confusing since the game doesn't have any on-screen indicators or anything to show you where something is located; you'll have to rely on your eyes only to find what you're looking for.
In this case, you're looking for a book, and it can be easily overlooked. However, the book is actually literally under your nose, or under Lily's nose, to be more precise. If you look on the table in front of where Lily stands, you'll see a book. Pick it up and bring it upstairs.
Where to Put the Recipe Book
Once you pick up the recipe book, you'll have to bring it to where it belongs. Go inside the dining room and then go upstairs; you'll come across two doors you can enter. Go through the one on the left and follow the hallway all the way to the end. Look to the left, and you'll notice a bookshelf. Place the recipe book inside the yellow marker, and this part of the objective is done.
Now, open the hidden door that appeared using the star-shaped handle, but make sure to open it only halfway to be able to go through it inside the next room, but before proceeding, look up; you'll see a shaft above on the ceiling. Open the shaft, hook yourself with your left hand to the magnetic wall, and hold.
While holding, look inside the room and notice the fire source. Imbue your conductive hand with fire and let go. Now, set Lily's painting inside the newly opened room on fire and enter the room. Once inside the room, spot the crate you can grab with your hands, so go ahead and grab it.
Place it just in front of the opening created by burning Lily's painting and jump inside the next room. Follow the linear path here to get to Lily's bedroom.
Bedroom Puzzle Solution
Once inside the bedroom, look at the huge heart-shaped bed. Press the heart-shaped switch on the front side of the bed to open it. If you want, pick up the document located next to the skeleton, but that's not relevant to this puzzle. Look up from the opened bed and spot the fire source. Use your conductive hand to imbue it with fire and burn the ribbon on the nearby cabinet.
Open it, break the glass with the pressure hand, and take the key located there; this key will open the door with the heart lock. Once you step through this door, the cutscene will commence, and congratulations – you solved this puzzle as well.
