Poppy Playtime is a game of scary chasing moments and very interesting and sometimes even overly hard puzzles. This action horror from Mob Entertainment will test your observation and puzzle-solving skills big time because the game will never hold your hand, and you'll be forced to solve and find everything completely on your own.
One such puzzle will be introduced to you once you meet Lily Lovebraids, where she'll ask you to find three of her friends to join her tea party. In this guide, we will show you several hints on how to solve this task along with a video guide showcasing the entire process, so without further ado, let's begin.
How to Retrieve the Crumpets
The first task Lily will give you will be to go down inside the basement and retrieve the crampets for her. Go through the door next to her and then through the white door to your left; this will lead you downstairs to the basement.
As soon as you reach the basement, the cutscene involving Poppy and Kissy will commence, and after the cutscene, go opposite of the room they're being held inside and walk through the red door. Inside, you'll find a furnace and three hatches. Open all three to find crumpets behind one of them and bring them back to Lily.
The First Toy
Once you give crumpets to Lily, she will open the door and go to put some music on. Wait for her to leave the room and go through the back door to reach the garage area. You can enter the garage through the vents inside the hallway. Do not forget to open the door from inside to open the shortcut.
Once inside the garage, you'll see a car and one of the toys inside it. To open the car, you'll have to lower the wall in front of the car by pulling the star-shaped handle. Once the wall is lowered, you'll see an electrical panel powered by batteries, which are missing.
One battery can be retrieved by turning the wall to the right of the car. The principle is the same: find the star-shaped handle and turn it. Once turned, you'll be able to open the cabinet on it, destroy the broken vent shaft with the pressure hand, and finally crouch behind the wall and pick up the first battery.
Place the first battery inside the slot and open the car trunk to retrieve the second one. Place this one inside the second slot and transfer the electricity to the car using the conductive hand. Once this is done, the windows on the car will roll down, and you'll be able to grab the first toy. Take the toy, return it to the dining room, and put it on one of the chairs. Once you do that, Lily will appear inside the room again.
The Second Toy
The second toy is located upstairs. Go up and you'll see two doors you can enter there. Go through the door on the right and enter a large room with the piano and the trumpet toys. Behind the trumpet is a pressure handle you can activate with your pressure hand. Do it, and you'll launch the second toy inside the piano.
To open the piano and retrieve the toy, you'll have to enter the correct melody. This melody is randomised and won't be the same for everyone. The melody sheet is located on the shelf to the right of the trumpet. Pick up the sheet and enter the inventory to see the combination. Once you learn it, play it on the piano, and the piano will open. Pick up the toy from within the piano and bring it to the dining room.
The Third Toy
Bringing the second toy will open the path to the third toy. Return upstairs and look to the ceiling above the staircase; you'll see a magnetic hooking point. Use this magnetic panel to reach a small balcony there. Once on the balcony, look to the left and open a small door with the star handle. This will reveal the fire source behind it.
To the right of the fire source is a big hidden door you can open using the star handle. Open this door halfway to be able to go through it. Now, enter the next room, and open the shower door. Return to the balcony and imbue your conductive hand with the fire and burn the strings keeping the third toy inside the shower.
Take the toy, return it to the dining room, and Lily will appear again, letting you know that you finished your task successfully.
