Grand Stitchery is an area in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 you'll get to after getting rid of Lily Lovebraids and while following the 'Find the Backup' mission.
In this area, you'll come across a room with a lot of mechanical arms stitching rag dolls, and you'll be prompted with the objective to escape this area. To do that, solving a very interesting puzzle will be required, and if this puzzle is giving you a headache, here is how to do it effortlessly.
Understanding the Puzzle
First of all, figuring out what to do in this room to escape it will be a puzzle in itself, because as we've mentioned countless times in all our Poppy Playtime guides, this game simply doesn't hold your hand at all; everything that has to be done has to be figured out by none other than yourself.
Once you reach the area, you'll see a big red door with four lights above it, featuring numbers from one to four. To leave this room, you'll have to light up those numbers, and that will be done by using three different methods.
Light Up the Number Two First
The first number you must light up should be the number two, and this one is quite easy to figure out. To the left of the big red door is a pressure cylinder you can activate with your pressure hand. Go ahead and do it by pressing the green hand switch and pulling the lever to the left when the pressure inside the cylinder drops to the marked value.
Once you do this, the energy current will start flowing to the light number 2.
Activating the Light Number One
The light number one is located to the right of the big red door, and to activate it, you'll have to tamper with the stitching arms first. Each stitching arm (there are four of them in this room) is powered by the battery hooked at its base. Remove each battery and hook them inside the slots located above stitching arms; this will erect the electrical rods on them needed to channel the electrical flow.
Now, hook one of your hands to the electrical source located to the left of the red door you past through when entering this room, and climb the platform using your free hand and sticking it to the magnetic plate above the closest stitching arm on your left while looking at the mentioned door.
Go from platform to platform to hook all three rods to the current and jump down in front of the big red door. Now simply hook the free hand to the switch with the number 'one' on it, and you'll immediately activate it.
How to Activate Remaining Two Lights
Hook one of your hands to the power source number one or two and climb the opposite platform above the fourth stitching arm using the magnetic plate. Look up, and you'll see another magnetic plate. Climb the platform next to it while being hooked to the power source and connect the rod on the platform you just landed on.
Now, hook the free hand to the switch located to the right of the nearby door, and you'll open this door. Go through the door, but be careful not to be hit by the stitching hand there; it can hurt you or even kill you.
Pull the lever inside the next room to open the next door and make your way to the end of the catwalk, avoiding yet another stitching arm. At the end of the catwalk is another lever that needs to be activated, and once you do activate it, jump through the newly opened door and reach the previously unreachable room on the first floor.
Once inside, turn the valve, and by doing that, both the third and fourth lights will be on, opening the big red door in the process. Go through the door to exit the area and finish the objective.
