In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, the newest chapter in this action horror from Mob Entertainment, you'll come across a mission called 'Extreme Aggression Under', and here the pressure will get very immense. You'll be prompted to escape the room with deadly Huggy patrolling around.
Apart from needing to find three different batteries, without a single hint on where they might be hiding, you'll have to survive the constant gaze of this game's deadliest enemy, Huggy Wuggy. If you're stuck on this mission, here is a complete walkthrough on how to finish it.
How to Obtain and Slot the First Battery
As soon as the cutscene where Huggy is distracted by a video ends, he will start patrolling around the room. His movements are inconsistent, and you'll never know when he'll turn around and check out which corner of the room. That's why the best possible strategy to beat this mission is to go for the battery located just ahead of you.
Look through a broken wall and head straight forward, of course, avoiding Huggy. There, you'll find a small crate that looks just like Huggy, and next to it, you'll see a ventilation shaft. Open the shaft and jump inside; this place will be your safe haven if Huggy spots you during the mission.
Go through the vents, and once you reach their end, look up. Hook yourself to the top of the vent and hold the hand button to reach the top. Keep holding, look down, and use the other hand to open the shaft near the top. Once it is open, let go.
Follow the newly opened vent and open the next shaft; this one will lead you to the room down below. Inside this room is the first battery. Open the door from inside and observe Huggy's movements. Take the battery with both hands and hold. Now go to the door and put the battery in one of three slots.
Battery no. 2
Go down the hallway opposite of the big door you must unlock, and once you reach the end, turn right. Here, you'll have to move the crate in front of the electric device made for distracting Huggy. Once you do that, use the conductive hand to imbue it with electricity and transfer the electricity to the device.
This will immediately attract Huggy, so be prepared to sprint out of his way. He will ignore you as long as you're not directly in his path; if you are, he will eat you, so be careful here. Hide wherever you see fit, and wait for Huggy to break the wall inside this room. Once he does, return here, pick up the battery using the same strategy, and put it inside one of the slots.
Battery no. 3
Go down the hallway opposite of the big door again, but this time, go left once at the end. You'll see a room with a locked door. Above the door is a hooking point, so go ahead, hook yourself to it and jump on the roof of this room. Once you're there, open the vent hatch and drop inside the room.
Open the door from inside and repeat the drill like with all the other batteries. Once all three batteries are slotted inside, the door will open, and you'll be able to escape.
Some Additional Hints
- If Huggy spots you, you can easily fool him by running in circles through the hallway; he will eventually give up on searching.
- The vent hatch you'll discover when obtaining the first battery is an ideal retreat point if Huggy starts chasing you.
- Activating electric devices scattered around the room will distract Huggy for a considerable amount of time, allowing you to either escape or successfully slot one of the batteries.
