In Hogwarts Legacy, talents are spell improvements that become available after reaching a specific level in the game. We'll try to help you decide which ones to unlock once they become available.
Hogwarts Legacy , the latest fantasy RPG from Warner Bros. , is jam-packed with various content. Casting spells, brewing potions, breading the beasts, and generally living the life of a witch or wizard form the foundation of this game's gameplay.
By completing the main and side quests, you will gain many new spells and wizarding skills. Most of these spells can be upgraded, but not until you reach a certain level in the game and unlock the new card in the pause menu called "Talents." Each new level you unlock will reward you with one talent point, and since the talents tab unlocks relatively early in the game, you will not have much talent points at your disposal.
In this guide, we will attempt to assist you in determining which skills to upgrade first and which talents will benefit your gameplay the most at an early stage of the game.
The best talents to unlock when they become available
You should consider spending the first couple of talent points on improving your Disillusionment spell, which will considerably boost your stealth. The stealth approach can be a real lifesaver in Hogwarts Legacy, especially when you wish to avoid battle and just slip through some enemies in order to complete some objectives quickly.
Navigate to the spell card after improving stealth and spend at least three talent points upgrading the Incendio, Accio, and Levioso spells. You will increase the effectiveness of certain spells by improving them; for example, after upgrading Incendio, the spell will create a flaming ring that will injure any opponents inside its radius.

The Core tab is where you should invest the most talent points because every enhancement here is extremely beneficial. We'd like to emphasize the Spell Knowledge 1 and Spell Knowledge 2 improvements in particular. By unlocking those talents, you will be able to add eight additional spells to the spell wheel, giving you a wider range of combat options. Swift is also a very useful upgrade to your dodge ability.

Since you'll have to wait until you're level 16 to acquire the next tier of improvements, these are unquestionably the best investments at the start of the game. The Dark Arts tab will be opened, but the majority of the spells in it will be available later in the game, while the Room of Requirements page will be fully locked until you uncover the Room of Requirements.
