How to learn lockpicking in Hogwarts Legacy?
To learn lockpicking in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll have to complete a story quest The Caretaker's Lunar Lament. The Caretaker will ask you to collect the moons from Demiguise statues placed all over Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.
Once you bring him the moons, he'll teach you a basic lockpicking spell called Alohomora. As you bring him more moons, he will teach you additional techniques so you can unlock level two and three lockpicks.

- Focus on the green dial (outside circle) first. Move the right stick until the gears in the lower right corner start to move and you see a green spark.
- Once you see the green spark, hold the right stick in that position and slowly start turning the left stick to start moving the red dial.
- Move the red dial until you see the movement and red spark in the red gears in the centre of the lock.
- Once you see the red spark, hold the left stick in that position and wait for the unlocking animation to finish.
- Good job! You've just picked a lock in Hogwarts Legacy.
