The Intrepid Explorer can be one of the most frustrating trophies/achievements in Hogwarts Legacy but the key is to just keep doing side quests and story until you unlock it.
Hogwarts Legacy has a total of 46 trophies/achievements and most Platinum hunters will tell you that unlocking these won't be a difficult task but a very time-consuming one. To get the Platinum in this Harry Potter RPG from Warner Bros. Games , you pretty much have to complete all collections, side quests, discover dungeons and more.
There are a couple of trophies/achievements that can get a bit tricky, like The Intrepid Explorer trophy/achievement, which unlocks once you discover all cairn dungeons in Hogwarts Legacy. Sounds pretty simple? Well, on paper it is but the game never tells you what these cairn dungeons are. You simply have to figure it out on your own.

How to unlock The Intrepid Explorer trophy/achievement in Hogwarts Legacy?
We've spent some time chasing this one and came to the conclusion that the best way to get this trophy is to simply complete quests, as they will lead you to hidden cairn dungeons that don't appear on the map until you start certain quests. This way, you do two things at once since you have to finish all quests anyway to get Platinum.
If you've already wrapped up the story, it's very likely you've already visited a couple of cairn dungeons (probably three) without even knowing. Cairn dungeons can be recognised by having piles of stones in front of them. Cairn dungeons are mostly tombs and there are a total of five of them in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy cairn dungeons locations
Here are three dungeons that count as cairn dungeons in Hogwarts Legacy.
Dale Family Tomb
Dale Family Tomb is hidden on the map until you start a quest called "Beeting A Curse". You can start this quest by talking to Samantha Dale near the Greenhouse in Hogwarts. The recommended level is level 15.

Tomb of Treachery
Tomb of Treachery cairn dungeon can be found as soon as you exit the goblin mine that you must take to reach the Highlands region. The dungeon is well hidden behind a waterfall. You'll notice a big pile of stones in the water just in front of the waterfall.

Moonstone Garden
Moonstone Garden cairn dungeon can be found in the far southern part of the Hogwarts Legacy map. This dungeon is located between the two mountains, just a tiny bit west of the Irondale hamlet.
To access this dungeon, you must play Poppy's relationship side quest up to a certain point. We've tried to open this dungeon on our own, before actually getting there with Poppy, but the dungeon is blocked and doesn't even exist on the map, until you activate it with a quest.

The Collector's Cave
The Collector's Cave is probably one of the first cairn dungeons you'll get to visit in Hogwarts Legacy as it's part of a very early questline. The cave can be found on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, just north of Hogwarts Castle and west of Hogsmeade.

Feldcroft Catacomb
Feldcroft Catacomb is another cairn dungeon that is part of a major questline in Hogwarts Legacy. You'll visit this dungeon at some point during Sebastian Sallow's relationship questline.
The dungeon can be just south of Feldcroft hamlet, which is located over the large mountains in the southwest region of the map.
