Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the latest RPG from Warhorse Studios, is a game of many quests, as any RPGs out there are, one might say, but the quests, especially the side ones in this game, somehow stand out for their originality and variaty above all.
One of the quests you can stumble upon very early in the game is the Axe from the Lake quest, where you'll have the opportunity to follow the story told by a storyteller in Tachov, and from the nature of the story, you might think that this quest will go in a very different direction.

How to solve the Axe from the Lake side quest
Once you reach a small village called Tachov, you'll meet a blacksmith there, and if you keep asking him questions, he will tell you about the storyteller closeby who likes to tell stories, but only if you offer him a drink or some coin. Once you find him, if you choose to hear a story about the moral, he will tell you the story about two brothers and the cursed axe. After hearing the story, the quest will appear, and you'll have a chance to follow it.
To solve this quest, you'll have to go where the quest marker is showing you to go, but once you reach it, you'll notice that the area in which you must search for the grave is quite big. To find the grave, you'll have to reach the dock on the river where the marker is set and then go up the hill to the north from there. If you follow the path through the woods, it will lead you to a stone located near the top of the hill.
Interact with the stone, and Henry will comment something about how a brother tried to break the axe on that stone. Continue up the hill, and once you reach the very top, look at the lake beneath you; the grave is located beneath the tree close to the edge. If you cannot find the location, consult our map above.
Upon reaching the grave, you'll have to dig it up, but not without a spade. If there's no spade in your inventory, do not despair because there's one close to Bozhena's hut, a lady that nursed you back to life during the prologue. If you don't want to take her spade, just buy one from the trader, but you'll have to walk to the village for that.
Once you dig up the grave, some very good loot awaits you, along with a broken axe you'll have to repair to finish the quest.
