Dirty and bloody clothes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Warhorse Studios' latest RPG, can have negative effects on Henry—his charisma will considerably drop, and people will start to point their fingers towards him, warning him that he should bathe and stop bothering people with his bad appearance.
In almost every settlement, you'll find a barrel filled with water you can use to wash yourself, and if you activate a certain perk, this washing can restore some of your health as well. However, for more thorough cleaning, you'll have to wash your clothes because this superficial cleaning can only do as much.
If you're curious about how to clean your clothes and yourself more thoroughly, we've prepared a guide that will show you how and where to do it.
How to wash your clothes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
There are two ways to wash your clothes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: in bathhouses and on the special places on the pond and river banks you'll be able to find in the game. Once you decide to visit a bathhouse, look for the owner and choose the option for bathing and cleaning the clothes.
However, if you don't want to spend a single coin on those services, Henry can do the cleaning on his own, provided you know where to find such locations. Apart from knowing the exact washing spots, you need to have soap in your inventory as well.
Soap can be made on the alchemy bench, or you can buy it in general shops as well as the apotecaries. Soap is usually found on people, so if you feel dishonest, you can always rob them or the dead bodies. Many chests in the game also contain soap, so if you find it, make sure to keep it in your inventory.
Regarding locations, in the first region (Trosky region), you can find it near Semine. For the second region (Kuttenberg region), the laundry is located on the river bank to the south of Raborsch. There are many more laundry locations apart from those two—just look for the small docks on the river and pond banks, and once you come across such places, Henry will comment something about the laundry, and your map will be updated with the laundry icon.
