ARC Raiders is a newly released extraction shooter from Embark Studios. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
As an extraction shooter, looting and crafting with materials is a major part of the game's progression. With the recent Cold Snap update, Embark has introduced the new Deadline and Trailblazer blueprints, allowing players to craft new effective items to take out larger ARCs like Bastions and Leapers.
However, to craft both of these items, you will need to get your hands on synthesized fuel, which can only be found on the topside. If you're struggling to find synthesized fuel, then here's a quick guide on where you should look.
How to Find Synthesized Fuel in ARC Raiders
Synthesized fuel is the core item for creating two of the most devastating items in the game. While the drop pattern of loot is random in ARC Raiders, there are certain places that can drop certain items, like synthesized fuel.
Synthesized fuel is usually spread out as ground loot, and you can easily distinguish it with the distinct red-coloured cylinder shape. If you're looking for synthesised fuel, then try venturing or looking into Exodus POIs of all maps in ARC Raiders. The only map with Exodus POI is Stella Montis. Here are the best locations to look for synthesized fuel on Stella Montis:

- Business Center
- Medical Research
While Stella Montis is a very PvP-heavy map, you can get synthesized fuel easily with a very odd trick if you don't want to invest much or have gear fear from the recent expedition. The odd trick is going in naked without any shield, augments, or guns.
With a naked loadout, you'll get a safe pocket, so you can look for synthesized fuel and put it in your safe pocket and surrender. However, as Stella Montis is littered with Pops, Fireballs, and Ticks, navigating these areas might become a major grind for you.
Aside from Stella Montis, Magnetic Accelerators can also drop from red lockers, breaches, and other containers in high-value loot areas on all maps. You can also find synthesized fuel as ground loot and by recycling Rocket Thrusters found in the rocket assembly of the Spaceport map.
