ARC Raiders's Frozen Trail has been a major success, with players returning to a new map, Pendola Pass. Alongside the new map, Embark has also added a new outpost system, which includes the research station that unlocks amplified research for weapons.
Amplified Research is a new endgame grind for players to create scaled-up versions of weapons by completing different research projects. If you're new to the game and heading towards the endgame grind, here's an overview of all the amplified research and how to complete them.
All Amplified Research and How to Complete Them in ARC Raiders
Amplified Research projects are specialized research tasks at the Research Station that unlock powerful Weapon Amplifications. Completing an Amplified Research project follows a two-step progression:
- Step 1: Complete specific combat challenges, damage milestones, or exploration tasks.
- Step 2: Submit 5,000 Research Points along with ARC components.
Once completed, the unlocked Amplification becomes permanently available for activation on eligible Level 5 Amplified Weapons. Here's an overview of all Amplified Research and how you can complete them:

To access and complete Amplified Research projects, raiders must upgrade their Research Station to Level 4. Before you can upgrade your Research Station to Level 4, you'll need to upgrade to your Outpost to Level 4. Once you have done that, upgrade your Gunsmith to Level 4 and you can apply your weapon amplifications once the related Amplified Research is complete.
