ARC Raiders Frozen Trail update is the most awaited update players have been waiting for the past few months. Since Embark's announcement of two major updates every six months, players have been stuck with the same content that was there since launch.
The Frozen Trail update is finally out across all platforms worldwide. This update features reworks to the trial system and skill tree. Moreover, it introduces new ARCs, weapons, items, gadgets, and a brand-new big map, Pendola Pass.
Alongside the new content, Embark also introduces a new research station in the workshop which enables the ability to upgrade and research new items. To level up the research station, you'll need Mini Pumps and here's how you can get them.
How to Find Mini Pumps in ARC Raiders
Mini Pumps are an important requirement for completing the level-up requirements for the new research station. While the drop pattern of loot is random in ARC Raiders, there are certain places that can drop certain items, like Mini Pumps.
If you're looking for Mini Pumps, then try venturing or looking into technological and electrical POIs of the new Pendola Pass map in ARC Raiders. Here are the best locations to look for Mini Pumps:
- Railyard
- Almatera Station
- Commissary Supermarket
- Cielo Sereno Observatory
- Storm Huts
In my playthroughs, the best spawn locations for the Mini Pumps have been in Railyard and the Storm Huts that activate after Flash Freeze starts. Aside from these locations, you can also find Mini Pumps randomly in most POIs of the map.
You can also narrow your search to POIs with Exodus marking. So, if you are not finding these items in Pendola Pass, you can extend your runs to Stella Montis, which has the highest drop rate for Exodus items like the Mini Pumps.
