ARC Raiders is a PvPvE extraction shooter from Embark Studios. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. As an extraction shooter, looting and crafting with materials is a major part of the game's progression. After collecting rare items from your expedition, you have to use them to upgrade different personal equipment.
One of these pieces of equipment/establishments in the game is your little rooster, Scrappy. To upgrade Scrappy to level 4, you need to get Prickly Pears; here's a guide on how you can find them in ARC Raiders.
How to Get Prickly Pears in Arc Raiders
Prickly pears are a natural resource, and they can be found mostly in dry and natural category areas. You can also find them lying on the ground as ground loot. You need six prickly pears to level up Scrappy to level 4 and take it to the path of level 5.
First up, you can find Prickly Pears in the Red Lake and Victory Ridge landmarks in Dam Battlegrounds. You can find them near cactuses on the map. Just approach a cactus, and you'll find them lying near the cactus tree.
You can also find Prickly Pears in the south side of Buried City in the area with a lot of sand. Like Dam Battlegrounds, you'll find these pears near the cactuses. Aside from that, you can also find Prickly Pears near the extraction point near the Container storage area of the Spaceport.
If you're still struggling to find Prickly Pears out in the open, try waiting for the Lush Blooms map condition to go live on any of the maps. Once it goes live, drop into any of the maps and look for baskets and small crates lying around trees, buildings, and in residential areas. Opening these boxes and crates can give you a large portion of natural resources, including prickly pears.
