With the first wave of invitations for Fortnite: Battle Royale on iOS already having started, Epic rolled out a trailer showing in game footage captured with iPhone X. We know it's still early days, but Fortnite's trailer sure don't care.

The trailer shows a bit of pretty much anything you can do in Fortnite: Battle Royale and although quick cuts don't make for good judgement of quality, we grabbed some screenshots from YouTube, just to take a closer look.

We must admit, it seems like Epic have done an incredible job, although we'll reserve any definitive statements for when the time comes to take Fortnite: Battle Royale for an iOSpin.

As you can see, Fortnite's controls are adapted for mobile users, with the crouch and jump buttons on the right, next to the kill-'em-all key.

There's most likely some form of aim assist though, as is often the case with mobiles. However, we've meticulously analysed Fortnite's iOS footage and found that the tracers are highlighted, so as to stand out better, which will allow for actual aim proficiency.

The construction button is on the left, below the map and the entire user interface seems pretty well designed. In fact, Fortnite: Battle Royale's iOS excursion doesn't seem to be one bit lesser than the full experience - even the explosions and particles reinforce Epic's style of delivery.

Camouflage, impulse grenades, wagons of loot - everything seems to be in line with what the original Fortnite: Battle Royale's been doing.

We'll update you when we know more, i.e. when we get an invitation to try it out (Epic pls), but expect to be playing Fortnite where no man has played Fortnite before very soon.
