DayZ set to have a lovely free weekend on Steam

DayZ's free weekend will start one day before Valentine's Day and go on until Monday, 17 February 2020 at 6:00 p.m. GMT. The base game and its DLC will be offered up at a discount during the free weekend. DayZ won Steam's Better With Friends award.

New Resident Evil Resistance masterminds and maps revealed

Capcom have revealed two new maps, Casino and Abandoned Park, and two new masterminds for their 4v1 survival game Resident Evil Resistance. The new masterminds are Alex Wesker and Ozwell Spencer who will join two previously revealed characters.

Fallout 76 Wastelanders shares release date with Steam version

Bethesda announced that Fallout 76 Wastelanders will bring NPCs to the game on 7 April 2020 which will also be the same day it will release on Steam. There are some quirks between the platforms though, with some things being transferrable and others not.

Bohemia Interactive posted another article on their blog, outlining what their plans are for DayZ in 2020. It appears that the developers will focus more on polishing the existing stuff and less on bringing new content, although bits will still come.

Conan Exiles developer and publisher, Funcom, found itself advising shareholders to sell their shares to the Chinese tech giant, Tencent. The latter already owns a 29 per cent stake in the company and could move to acquire it entirely.
