The Walking Dead - the complete series coming to Switch and Steam

Telltale's The Walking Dead - the complete series is coming to Steam this week. The Switch version is available right now. Skybound Games' The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners VR game is set to launch on Steam on 23 January.

Bethesda apparently unaware of latest Fallout 76 hack's scale

Bethesda's Fallout 76 is best described as a series of train wrecks but it appears that even when one happens, Bethesda are not aware of its scale. In an update to the exploit where hackers would steal others' equipped items, the company certainly hinted as much.

Fallout 76 Wastelanders beta sign-ups are ending soon

Fallout 76 Wastelanders is finally going to add human NPCs to Bethesda's GaaS attempt but it has to go through some testing first. The beta sign-ups are ending in the late hours of 14 January 2020 so you might want to give it a shot.

JANUARY 14

Frostpunk - The Last Autumn prequel DLC is coming soon

Frostpunk's second story expansion is set to drop in late January 2020. The prequel will focus on the days before the winter started ravaging the game's landscapes. The available DLCs can be bought separately or as part of the Season Pass.

Subnautica: Below Zero dev gives PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch update

Unknown Worlds Entertainment are still hard at work on Subnautica: Below Zero and they posted an update on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch plans and development. While they're hoping to make it for PC 1.0 release, it's too early to tell.

DECEMBER 18

Resident Evil 3 Remake minimum system requirements announced

Resident Evil 3 Remake was officially unveiled at the PlayStation State of Play last week. The game will launch on 3 April 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Resident Evil 3 Steam page has shared the minimum requirements for the game.

Fallout 76 gets free weekend and true server privacy

Fallout 76's premium subscription service was met with a lot of scrutiny from subscribers and non-subscribers alike but Bethesda finally managed to plug the holes regarding private servers. At the same time, a promotional free weekend was announced, if someone wants to try it out.

Resident Evil 3 Remake will not be revealed at The Game Awards it's been officially confirmed by the show's host Geoff Keighley who called the latest leaks completely wrong.

Outlast developer Red Barrels have announced a brand new survival-horror game named The Outlast Trials. While it may seem that the new title will be VR, the devs confirmed it's actually a co-op experience.

Minecraft saving bees in new partnership with WWF

Minecraft is getting a bee-centric update next week in partnership with WWF. The update will be heralded in by three live streams hosted in the US, Brazil and Australia. A new community challenge will take place from 13 December until 15 December 2019.

State of Decay 2 is coming to Steam

Microsoft are giving up on one exclusive game from their store as State of Decay 2 recently got its Steam page up and running. There are some odd things happening with release date though.

Bethesda's latest nuke launch code update was closely followed by a patch that didn't contain some fixes often requested by the community. It appears they were slated for release with Wastelanders but they might come sooner.

Bethesda updated Fallout 76 nuke launch codes for the current week, fixed some bugs and stepped into another PR disaster by banning the creator of Map 76, who subsequently quit the game.

Fallout 76 data miner banned after reporting exploits to Bethesda

Bethesda banned a high profile Fallout 76 data miner that maintained the website called Map 76 following the latter's testing of an exploit. The company denies that was the reason for the ban but the wording leaves a lot of room for debate.

Apparently, a 62-year-old grandma spent 27,000 hours in ARK

Have you ever seen someone with 27,000 hours spent in a single game? Apparently, there is a 62-year-old grandma ARK: Survival Evolved that clocked in close to that amount of time but it debatable how much of it was spent idling.

Rumour: Fallout 76 subscription sales were excellent

Many people laughed at Bethesda when they launched a subscription service for the reviled Fallout 76. However, certain leaks and Bethesda's further behaviour point to Fallout 1st selling really well and people shelling out money, despite all the backlash.
