Let's be honest here, if someone asked you what's Sony's most successful franchise, it would've probably been something along the lines of God of War. Sony's numbers, however, tell another story and it turns out it's actually Gran Turismo.

Onrush beta date has been confirmed

Codemasters have finally decided to grant the wishes of the masses waiting on their upcoming co-op racer Onrush and the company announced the game going into beta on 17 May 2018. PS4 owners who pre-order can play it two days earlier though.

Rocket League for PC is free this weekend, Dropshot tryouts

Windows, Linux or macOS - you can play Rocket League for free this weekend, as long as you are playing it on a PC. If you manage to have some fun during the weekend, the game can also be acquired at a discount until the following Monday.

Despite being a remastered title, Burnout Paradise Remastered has had its share of issues on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The first patch promises to address that, introducing fixes for corrupt save files and crashes, among many others.

Burnout Paradise: Remastered has topped UK sales charts and thus managed to bring the crown back to the series after 13 long years. Criterion Games have decided to celebrate this feat by playing the game with the fans.

Ubisoft seem to be taking their time with The Crew 2, since players have been waiting for a long while to get a release date. The company's answer to NFS has a fresh trailer, and the release date is 29 June 2018.

Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Racing Games have decided to resurrect the ancient V-Rally franchise with a fourth installment in the series, which is slated for launch in September 2018. Almost thought it was a remaster.

EA Play is coming back for 2018, will wrap up before E3 kicks off

EA Play will be hosted out of Los Angeles before the big E3 showcase starts. The main show will be open to the paying public and go on for an extra hour each day. The morning hours of the show will be reserved for the members of the press.

EA bringing back Burnout Paradise for PS4, Xbox One in March

Electronic Arts have decided to bring their classic title Burnout Paradise back from the dead, albeit in a brand new remastered package. The remaster is coming to consoles in March, with a PC launch scheduled later this year.

It seems like 2018 going to be a good year for racing games, with Codemasters now announcing Onrush, the company's arcade racer that, if the trailer is anything to go by, looks great and promises some serious fun.

Rocket League's Tournaments Beta is set to go live next week. The beta will only be available to players who have purchased their copy of the game via Steam. The Tournaments Beta version of the game will replace the Live version you already have installed.

Need for Speed Payback's new game mode named Alldrive will let people explore Fortune Valley and encounter up to 7 other players in the same session. This will allow for small scale car meets with your crew.

For Rocket League, some game modes are made more equal than others - at least when it comes to the more competitive aspects of the game. A wave of updates for the game will aim to make modes outside the core Soccar more appealing to competitively minded players, eventually.
